BARRY JOHNSON

CEO

Barry formed EPIC Insurance Services in 2009 and oversees Life, Personal Accident and Medical insurance. His experience goes back to 1970 when he joined the Lloyd’s broking firm of Bevington, Vaizey and Foster Ltd, and since then, he has been involved in all aspects of Treaty and Facultative reinsurances, from around the world.

Outside of insurance, Barry is a West Ham fan and in the Summer months escapes to Cornwall with his family.

PATRICK DENIS

Head Consultant

Patrick oversees Aviation, Marine and Construction insurance, and has worked in the industry for 45 years as both an underwriter and broker.
Patrick ran his own Lloyd's syndicate for several years and was the first Lloyd's broker to visit Vietnam and holds a degree in business studies.

SAMUEL JOHNSON

Broker

After graduating from The University Of East Anglia with a degree in politics Sam ventured into Medical insurance in 2018. Since then Sam joined EPIC in 2019 and oversees a diverse portfolio of business originating from South Asia and MENA regions.

Sam is a keen sports fan outside of insurance and competed nationally in 400-metre events.

JONATHAN SPRULES

Head of Compliance

Jon is our Insurance Compliance Specialist and he has been in the insurance industry since 1984. He carries a wealth of experience and was previously an insurance manager for a FTSE 100 company and a run-off manager for Lloyd's Syndicates.

Jonathan carries an ICA Diploma in Regulatory Compliance and outside of work, he's a keen player of most sports, notably rugby.
